PVC Door Anti-Collision Strip Set – 6 Pieces for Four Doors and Two Mirrors

This door anti-collision strip set provides a practical way to guard your car's paintwork and mirror casings against everyday knocks. Made from PVC in a wedge shape, the strips are designed to fit along door edges and mirror housings, creating a buffer that helps absorb minor impacts. The set includes six pieces, enough to cover four doors and two mirrors, making it a comprehensive solution for the most exposed areas of your vehicle. With a wide selection of colours, including black, grey, white, red, blue, green, fluorescent, transparent, and patterned options such as flag or rice designs, you can choose a finish that blends in or adds a subtle accent. Whether you park on narrow streets, in shared garages, or simply want to reduce the risk of scuffs from opening doors against walls, these strips offer a simple, low-cost safeguard.

Features and Construction

The anti-collision strips are shaped to follow the contours of door edges and mirror casings, providing a targeted layer of protection without interfering with normal use. Their wedge profile helps distribute impact force away from the painted surface.

Material and Build

The strips are made from PVC, a flexible plastic that can bend slightly to accommodate gentle curves along door edges and mirror housings. This flexibility allows the strip to sit close to the surface, reducing the chance of snagging. PVC also resists moisture and everyday grime, so the strips can be wiped clean when needed. The material is chosen for its ability to absorb light contact, acting as a sacrificial layer that takes the brunt of minor impacts instead of your car's finish.

Size and Practical Fit

The wedge shape is designed to fit along the edge of a door or mirror, with the thicker side facing outward to meet potential impacts first. While exact dimensions are not stated in the source information, the six-piece set is intended for standard four-door cars with two mirrors, covering the most commonly knocked areas. The strips are flexible enough to follow slight curves, making them suitable for many vehicle profiles. Installation does not require specialist tools; the strips can be pressed into place along a clean edge.

Uses and Placement

These strips are suited to both everyday driving and specific situations where door edges are at risk of contact with walls, pillars, or other vehicles. Their discreet appearance means they can be left in place permanently.

Event or Professional Use

For car show entrants, driving instructors, or anyone who frequently parks in public spaces, these strips help preserve the appearance of door edges and mirrors. The range of colours allows for a coordinated look, while transparent and patterned options offer subtle or distinctive finishes. Fleet managers and valeters may find the six-piece set useful for protecting multiple vehicles or for quickly replacing worn strips. The PVC material can be cleaned easily, which is helpful when preparing a car for display or handover.

Everyday Home Use

Day-to-day, the strips reduce the risk of paint chips and scratches when opening doors in tight garages, driveways, or supermarket car parks. They are particularly useful for families with children who may open doors without checking for nearby obstacles. The wedge shape helps prevent the door edge from making direct contact with walls or other cars. Fitting the strips to mirror housings also guards against scrapes when manoeuvring in confined spaces. The neutral and bright colour options allow you to match your car's existing trim or add a visible safety accent.

Benefits and Buying Value

The main benefit is a simple, low-maintenance layer of protection that can help avoid expensive paint repairs. Because the set covers six points, it offers comprehensive coverage for a typical car.

Reuse and Low Maintenance

PVC is easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth, so the strips can be kept looking tidy with minimal effort. Unlike some adhesive films, these strips are designed to sit along edges and can be removed or repositioned if needed, although the source does not specify reusability. Their flexible nature means they are less likely to crack or peel under normal use. When the strips become worn, they can be replaced individually, extending the protection for the rest of the car.
